Cold fronts such as these remind us of the importance of a well-insulated home. That is why we chose Pella windows for 14 Grant Circle NW. We will install two types of Pella windows. For the front of the house, we installed wood-framed windows with low-emissivity (“low-e”) glass. The wood frames respect Grant Circle’s historic designation and the home’s classic Wardman facade. For the rear, however, we chose a sleeker window frame to compliment the home’s transitional interior design: Pella Proline with black cladding exterior and a wood interior. It also uses low-e glass for better thermal insulation.
